Situated in the extremely resourceful geography of Southern Alabama, Muskogee Technology is a tribally-owned manufacturing company that employs the core values of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, such as fairness, perseverance, empowerment, and accomplishment in its organizational workflows. These values inspire Muskogee Technology, the only federally recognized tribe of Native Americans in the state, to build a positively reinforced workforce that produces the best manufacturing outcomes for its clients. By nurturing and empowering a disciplined team of professionals in-house, the company aims to service industry needs by sustaining a productive workforce. While larger manufacturers are compressed with red tape and vertical restrictions, Muskogee Technology, with its expert agile team, reinvents manufacturing processes aligned with regulatory compliance innovations to decrease cost and turnaround. “Our focus is to promote a culture of commitment through synergy and engagement with our employees, by inspiring a fun and fair working environment which leads to quality products and services critically needed to meet and exceed the expectations of our demanding customers,” expresses Westly L. Woodruff, President and CEO, Muskogee Technology.

Muskogee Technology has evolved to be abreast of various machining technologies and stands to deliver comprehensive manufacturing goods and advisory services for its clients in aerospace, defense, utility, and oil and gas industries. The company provides its clients with a full range of manufacturing services, including composite cutting/ kitting services, inventory management, CNC precision machining, various levels of metal fabrication, and kitting/component overhaul.

With its CNC precision machining capabilities, Muskogee Technology ensures increased precision, accuracy, and speed of milling, turning, and water jet cutting.

“The company has been very successful in adapting to the market’s needs and has aligned itself to be advantageous in value and cost to its customer base through meticulously catered delivery of services,” remarks Woodruff.

With its voluminous experience in composites and kitting, Muskogee Technology is perfectly poised to deliver quality products that are easy-to-use for heavily OEM-dependant industries under strict time and quality assurance constraints.

“We are the only company of our size and scale that is AS9100D certified in aerospace CNC machining, welding, metal fabrication, and Nadcap certified in composites,” states Woodruff.

To elucidate on the complete attention Muskogee Technology pays toward a customer’s problems, Woodruff recalls a story of a recent project where a manufacturing customer faced discrepancies in their scrap rates and inventory totals.

“This customer is well-established, having been present in the aerospace marketplace for decades,” he says. Muskogee Technology conducted internal investigative time studies and noticed that the scrap rate data depicted within the programs was extremely low whereas the collective data derived from the customer’s assessment suggested otherwise. After a thorough investigation, it was discovered that the customer had erroneous calculations in the amount of raw materials they consumed and considered over half of the resources to be scrap. With Muskogee Technology’s expertise and notice to detail, the problem, presumed as a communication issue, was determined to be a technical one in material consumption calculation by unit of measure. The company offered a string of in-house solutions to investigate and fix the problem first-hand and helped the customer recover inventory discrepancies and improved accuracy for material purchasing and planning.

Muskogee Technology, with its team of highly motivated Team Members and a broad spectrum of solution offerings, continually drives innovation in the manufacturing realm. Moving forward, the company seeks to deliver the complete customer experience, bolster relationships with strategic partners, and promote the importance of establishing a wholesome, value-based workplace.
